Before I opened my Real Estate Office in 1975 I was Superintendent for a construction Company. I worked for Chiles Machining Company selling construction equipment for 25 years. Divorced and remarried, I joined TWA as a Flight Attendant once again for 15 more years. Len and I moved to Carthage in 1985 to build and run Royalty Arena. Len now has Len’s Leather Shop and I have worked at The Villages at Rollins Creek, a new village of retirement condominiums for the past 3 years. I was born and raised in Carthage and graduated from Carthage High School in 1996. Upon graduation, I joined the United States Marine Corps and served honorably from 1998-2002 having spend time in California and Japan. After being discharged, I spent several years in California working in sales for a national company but became homesick so I moved back to Carthage. I became a Poker Supervisor at a local casino for three years but in the back of my head I’ve always wanted to sell real estate so I obtained my Real Estate License and am pleased to call Smith Midwest home now.

My wife Deana and I are blessed with four beautiful children and enjoy spending time going camping and watching ballgames. The Howard name has been around this area for more than 75 years. My late Grandfather, Ralph Howard owned Howard Buick Inc. which is now Village Chevrolet. My Father, Steve Howard ran the dealership for my Grandfather and is still part owner of Howard’s Machine Shop and serves on the Board of Directors for Southwest Missouri Bank. My Mother, Judy Howard, just completed 20 years of service for Edward Jones. If its one thing that my parents have taught me its stay true to your name and treat others as you want to be treated. I look forward to carrying on the Howard name in this community and am eager to satisfy all of your real estate needs
